This is an EXTREMELY confusing Walgreens trip, as far as my totals went- so please bear with me.

7 Reese’s/Kit Kit 8 packs ($1.69 each)
2 Cracker Jacks (2/$1)
2 Gillette Body Wash ($4.50 each)
1 pair of scissors ($2.29, was $8.99)
2 20 oz. Dr. Pepper (2/$2.29, not pictured)
Coupons
99¢ in ad coupon for candy bars
$4/2 Gillette Body Wash
$1/2 Dr. Pepper
The Deals
Get a $5 RR wyb $10 in Hershey Products
Get a $4.50 RR wyb 1 Gillette Body Wash
The Confusing Part
I began the transactions with a $7.50 RR from a previous trip and planned to end them with another $7.50 one from the Renu. However, the only bottle of Renu was not the ‘Sensitive’ and was not producing a RR. We didn’t figure this out until after I’d paid for it and redeemed my $2/1 coupon.
Instead of giving my coupon back, the manager refunded $9.51- which was the amount of the product AND the amount of the coupon. He was correct to do so. If they cannot give my coupon back, they can give me a refund for it.
My first transaction was $1.06, my 2nd was $3.55, but I received an extra $2 back for that coupon. I also paid an extra $2.29 for the scissors as fillers that I did not need to because I didn’t buy the Renu.
So, I spent $4.61 on everything pictured above (including the Dr. Peppers), but received $9.17 back in place of the register reward that didn’t print.

Curious: how did the deal on the candy work? My Walgreen’s ad shows a limit of 4.
