National Hunting and Fishing Day: September 26th

Join us Saturday, September 26, 2009, 10 am – 4 pm
The National Hunting and Fishing Day is celebrated in areas across the country. The goal is to get families interested not only in hunting and fishing, but the outdoors in general. Since we are home to the original Bass Pro, our festivities are HUGE! You can find information on other areas

Not only is this a ton of fun, it’s also FREE! There are free food tables, free entertainment, giveaways, prizes, and activities. Last year, the kids came home with bags of loot, ranging from die cast cars to fishing gear to T-shirts. There are hands on archery and shooting demonstrations, inflatables, canoeing, casting contests, live music, and so much more. The boys even got to play football with the Springfield Wolf Pack.
