This is one of my favorite inexpensive Halloween treats! These can be made very cheaply for parties and make a great healthy snack for other goblins.
Ingredients:
1 apple (red or green)
40 miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup peanut butter
Core and quarter the apple. Cut each quarter in half lengthwise. You should have 8 pieces. Cut each piece in half lengthwise again so you have 16 pieces total.
Smear one side of each apple piece with peanut butter. Place 5 mini marshmallows on 8 of the apple pieces. Top with the remaining 8 apple pieces to make 8 mouths.
Cost: approximately 8¢ per serving
