If you were one of the *lucky* ones to score an Xbox360 at Amazon yesterday, you need to check your accounts. I was able to purchase through the link (like many others) but ended up with an Xbox360 that did not come with the gift card. If your order rang up $199.99, chances are that you did not qualify for the gift card. If it rang up $199.98, you’re safe.
This was an out and out dirty trick pulled by Amazon, whether intentional or not. They should have selected a number of items that could be purchased through that link instead of substituting another product with no promotion at a difference that was unable to be spotted with the most careful of eyes.
If you are unable to determine if your system qualified for the promotion, please call customer service to check so that you can cancel before it is shipped.
