What a beautiful, cloudy day. Has anyone seen the sun lately? I’m about to send out a search party. It is the official first day of fall. In case you’re wondering, I am surviving quite well. We’re even commemorating the occasion by having chili for dinner!
We are having a relaxing evening at home tonight- or so I thought! Tonight is National Family Game night, so the kids are excited to play…. poker. I have an entire shelf full of board games, many of which have never been opened. They chose the poker set. Whatever happened to Monopoly? We don’t even play cards- the hubby won it at his company picnic. We have to print out tutorials to deal blackjack, so mastering something such a Texas Hold’em could be tough.
Tonight is also the premiere of Mercy and Criminal Minds. Oh how I’ve missed my Criminal Minds boys! My brother also closed on his house today, so I need to run over there and take the grand tour. We had friends that lived there while we were growing up and spent a lot of time there, but I haven’t been there in 15 years or so.
