Captain D’s- Kids eat free on Thursdays

It’s football season at our house, which means that we’re in town an extra 3 nights each week.  It’s become a tradition for us to go to Captain D’s after our Thursday practices.  They offer 2 free kids meals with each adult entree purchase, and everything is considered an entree!  Last night, we ate for $9.67.

I had the butterfly shrimp dinner that’s on special for $4.99, and the hubby had the country fried shrimp, which was only $2.99 (he had to add a tea, which was almost more than his meal).  Both kids ate free, and I had a $2.00 off coupon on my receipt from the previous week.

This is such an expensive way to have a dinner out, and we really enjoy their food.  Their chicken strips are some of the best I’ve ever eaten in case I have land-lovers out there.  I also always substitute fried breadsticks for the hushpuppies.
