Groupon is one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. The concept is pretty simple:
- Companies offer services and products at a deep discount (normally half off or greater).
- A minimum number of Groupons must be sold in order for the deal to start.
- Your Groupon will appear in your Groupon account immediately, but normally can’t be redeemed until the next day.
Lots of cities participate, some have more than one Groupon per day, but what interests me the most is the Nationwide Deals. Every day, select cities have offers that anyone can redeem- and some of these include shipping. These can be everything from personalized stationery to photo books to Build-a-Bear to steak! Many of these offers include shipping.
These offers change daily and are only available for a limited time. You will see a ‘Time Left to Buy’ box on the left side of the page. This will let you know how long you have to purchase this.
Also please pay attention to the fine print. Some have limits on how many you may purchase for personal use, and some may have limits on how many you can gift. However, if you are redeeming gifted ones online, a company may let you order and ship to yourself to gift.
Here’s a summary of today’s nationwide deals and the city they are available in. To take advantage of these deals, simply start an account here: Groupon Once you’ve registered through that link, just select the city I’ve mentioned in the drop down menu at the top to order that specific deal.
