Yesterday, I went and priced a lot of school supplies at various retailers for an upcoming post. I paid very close attention to the price of Post-it products after yesterday’s post about the .pdf coupons. At Walmart, the products ranged from $2.64-$3 each. At Dollar General, they have a single pack of Post-it flags for only $1!!!
Here’s the deal:
Buy 10 Post-it Flags: $10
- -$2/$10 purchase printable (use this first)
- -(10) $1/1 printables
=$2 overage wyb 10 (you will need additional product to cover the overage)
Let me know how this works for you!

My local store will not let you stack the MQ’s, but they will let you use the $1/1 to just make it free.
I just tried to use the coupons, and the $2.00 off $10.00 worked, but they would not let me use the $1.00 off. They said because their policy stated that the item cannot be free if using an internet coupon. How did you guys get it to work?
Paula,
I think your store is just confused. They don’t take internet printables for a FREE product, but a product can be free with an internet printable. Does that make sense? Here’s a link to their coupon policy. Print it out and take it with you to clear up any confusion. http://www.dollargeneral.com/OurStores/Pages/CouponPolicy.aspx Do you mind telling us which store that was?
It was a store in Nixa. The manager was extremely nice and helpful. I thought it might have been because I tried to stack it with $2.00 coupon, but I tried again today, and it still didn’t work.
