What a slap in the face!!! I take the weekend off for my daughter’s birthday celebration and I come back to a new, possibly detrimental coupon policy from Dillons. This new policy went into effect at midnight this morning, with no warning, no signs posted in the store regarding the change, no alerts on their website, no nothing.
I am very disappointed in this policy as the changes will affect every couponer and take away all of the ‘standout’ service and deals that made me drive 45 miles each way to shop there every week. I can honestly say that they have lost the majority of the $15,000 they get reimbursed for each year for my coupons alone.
The entire policy is several pages long, so I’m going to post the highlights:
- Coupons up to 50¢ will still be doubled with no limits. All coupons over 50¢ will be redeemed at face value.
- There will be no doubling on store coupons, catalinas, and e-coupons
- Expired coupons will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- There is a limit of 2 printable coupons per manufacturer per transaction. There are no limits on other coupons.
These changes has also taken affect at Gerbes stores in SWMO.

Will they accept a coupon stacked on top of an ecoupon still?
I’m a little confused on what the per manufacturer means… does that mean like brand specific?
This is the way my Kroger has always done things, so hopefully I won’t see too many changes. The policy is saying 2 IP PER MANUFACTURER, not 2 total in one transaction is how I’m reading it, so that shouldn’t be too bad. You are usually only supposed to print two bricks coupons anyway. But you could always still break up your transactions if you needed to.
I was told by a fellow couponer friend a few days ago that Target has also recently changed their coupon policy. They told her that their new policy was to take either the Target coupon or the manufactures coupon, but not both.
