Target Deals: Week of 2/7/10

Target can be a great place to coupon shop! Due to recent changes, deals aren’t quite a plentiful as they used to be, but there are still many to be found.

Here are some things to remember when shopping at Target:

You may use (1) store coupon and (1) manufacturer’s coupon per item.
Store coupons can be found on your receipt, at Target’s website, in weekly inserts, in mailers, and stuck to products.
Super Target coupons are accepted in regular Target stores.
No one is sure how the recipients of mailers are selected, so cross your fingers and hope you get one!

Target accepts printable coupons.
Target does NOT double coupons.
Target often runs promotions that allow you to receive a gift card for purchasing selected items. You CAN use a coupon on each item.
Keep an eye out for coupons that offer a gift card with a new or transferred prescription. You can transfer your prescriptions back or somewhere else offering a gift card next month!
Target offers price matching. Taking advantage of it is a little tricky. You’ll need to make your purchases and then take the competitors ad to guest services for a refund. There are a LOT of stipulations with this, so read the price matching policy before planning your trip. Take it with you in case you have a problem.
Always, always, always take a printed copy of the coupon policy with you!
